Last night I went into Ceremony.

I honoured the elements and directions with smoke and withdrew into my private place. I spread a red scarf carefully across my bed and set things important to me in a pleasing manner, including my family – ancestors and descendant. I prepared my iPad to receive the wisdom of the cards and found the right music. Satnam Kaur‘s beautiful voice resonated within me…  I slow-danced with Mother Earth, the reality of me with/in the reality of She, of Whom I am /We are…

Then, I pulled cards for OhGs and, OhGs, were they good!! Based on the SWOT analysis in the OhGs Business Plan, the reading suggested by Joan Hardy provided the following insights:

Strength

First, the card for Strength was placed at the top – the North position that also represents matter, reality and practicality, and I asked: What will give us Strength?

3 of Water – this is the fun part! That popped out of my mouth one day at a seemingly inappropriate moment and I wondered why… until I remembered that attitude is everything!

Weakness

The second card of the reading represents a Weakness that OhGs has. It was placed in the Eastern position that also represents Air and intuition, and I asked: What is our Achilles Heel?

2 of Water Reversed – fear of sharing our hearts with one-another!

Opportunity

The 3rd card pulled represents Opportunity and it was placed at the bottom of the spread, the Southern position that represents Fire, creativity and growth. I asked: What lights our fire? Where lies Our creativity?

Elder of Earth Reversed – Grandmothers working in a different way for their communities.

Threats

The last card pulled represents Threats and was placed in the West, where Water and emotions are honoured. I asked: Of what should we beware?

5 of Water – despondency, caught up in wondering how to get away

The words that weave the cards together are:

Dive deep and play well to find the strength to open our hearts Put the Wisdom and skills of women at the service of our creativity. The wheels will spin more smoothly. The women have had much experience at combing chaos and are joyful in the work they do for their beloved community.  Weaving us together will help us avoid the inertia of depression. Our way out of that trap is to play well, staying afloat while working for a meal and diving deep with others.

Now at the end, here is what I wrote at the beginning, before pulling the cards:

This is what I came to do. What I’m doing right now. The plan has been put into action and I can only get through best by letting my heart lead the way. I am quantumly connected to all of us. This OhGs plan is being woven into Indra’s Net. Each ego sparkling with all others in a blaze of glory… we sparkle together in a very powerful way, emulating Our Great Father here on the breast of Our Great Mother. I am grateful.
