The Kamloops group “Changing the Face of Poverty” introduced Jill Zacharias of the Tamarack Institute. Their work supports development of facilities like OhGs. Jill has been sent an invitation. A summary of the Zoom meeting is here.

OhGs, the acronym

A sigh gave birth to words last night. I heard what I’d said: “OhGs!!” and considered the number of people who have expressed exactly the same words. More of us are realizing the reality of what is being calling for!

“OhGs” is the acronym for Our Heart Gardens, the name I was led by MOM to choose for this plan, given to me to give to Humanity. I laughed when I realized it. I love the sense of humour I sense in the presence /presents of the Divine.

OhGs, Why now and What next?

Many people have had bits and pieces of the OhGs plan come through them, and more as humanity passes through this traumatic time. The catalysts for change push us to weave a way forward that works for us all – in the places where we live.

The synergistic OhGs plan combines the needs of individuals with their knowledge, skills and ability to work with others, in order to meet the needs of community and meaningful work that are intrinsic to people.

OhGs changes depending on where it is put into action and who’s involved. It’s time to roll it out – I’m talking to people in my hometown, Kamloops BC Canada.

How do we address the cataclysmic elements of changing climate, broken systems and broken homes? Children growing up with broken role models, bullies as peers and no hope. Multitudes of broken people stuck in routines demanded by the need for money that is sucked away from our communities by corporations that don’t feel the pain of a hungry belly or a lonely heart.

How do we enable people to give their gifts of love, healing, energy, skills and brilliance without having to sell them? Few people have money to buy them, and those who need them most have the least!

Alone, none of us are enough. We all have a need for community. Each of us have different abilities and desires. With a common goal that supports our basic needs we can support each other to achieve our highest dreams. In community we can do that.

Let’s gather and start to repurpose buildings, creating good places to grow good food so our source of food is local and safe and we have good things to do with our time and energy.
