When one must have a big birthday, this is the best way ever!! Even though far from home – I am at home with these lovely people – thank you so much Ximena, Lucy and Sergio! My heart is more full than the cup you kept filling!
Invited to Mexico by Ximena, whom I met online at TheConversation.cc, I was on my way anyway to join LionFire and Mary Leonard, shaman from Colorado with whom I toured Maya ruins and attended the Mayan Heart Festival in Guatemala in 2018, for another tour of Maya ruins. They have hosted me many times and we have made amazing memories – more to come starting on the 22nd, and then I return on November 3 to rejoin Ximena to write a book together, and more! This is definitely the fun part! MOM is here (always present, though not always apparent… but She was when I finished the slideshow!)
There’s a day full of pictures on Ximena’s phone of the floating market that Lucy and Ximena took me to. It was wonderful and I hope I get to share those pictures too — and the Mexican Museum of Anthropology! It was amazing, and a full day on our feet! I’m off to Cancun tomorrow to meet up with LionFire and Mary Leonard and the rest of the tour to see the Mayan ruins and another part of the world – I’ll try to keep in touch!
