Part of the power of MOM is the willingness to be moved by the inspiration of guidance. I have recognized my power of choice and the imminence of my departure for Mexico, the consequences of staying stuck… What will allow me to activate …me?
I’ve watched the clock and received no inspiration compelling me to Act Now. I have watched scenarios slide across the screen of my mind’s eye… None has brightened into a plan – possibilities are a chaos creating a lack of sleep I know well to be the territory of initiation… Time for ceremony!

I pull 4 cards, one at a time as I ask the questions that occur to me, and I comment on each as I go through the reading. With all of them before me, I see they are all majors, the suit of archetypes, also called trumps. This is very rare and indicates a reading of epic proportions and great import. Three of the cards are reversed, twisting their energies and skewing their meanings, providing deeper guidance… As you’ll see, it becomes more than four. This was the first question that offered itself:
What action is called for, that I can do, that will empower me to move; to honour all the pieces of the Peace She has Promised; that I have the Power to enact?
4 The Builder – Reversed: unmake my home… ? This IS a time of packing and cleaning and making ready for my trip. Focusing on the little details that enable beauty to welcome others in, and for me to leave and be welcomed in!
How can I honour the medicine already made, prepared with no plan but with all my heart and holding the pain of generations and relations… ?
8 Strength – embrace my fears with love and trust; hold what is within my grasp with tenderness while contemplating with clear eyes and a steady heart, all else that is… be calm, serene, loving and power-full. Have no fear.

3 The Gardener – Reversed – this is a time of great fertility and abundance and I’m stuck in the mud… let the Water flow and seeds to sprout! This could be expanded to the World – I am not seeing our Mother Gaia lying back, beautiful, content and abundant…

21 Gaia, The World – Reversed – the World is in MY hands – it is my choice what I do with the resources within my grasp.
Because all the cards are Majors, I wondered if the program required them, and so I checked the settings – nope, that’s just the way they came! And so I pulled another set of cards, just to double-check the program hadn’t malfunctioned (and an opportunity for more guidance!)
Question: Wanting to check the deck and work with the Now I find myself in …here, before the light at the end of the tunnel becomes manifest… What Past roots my Present, and what Future is in store?

Past
19 ~ the Sun (Upright) – my attitude has been joyful; my back to the future; boundaries ignored. I have been carefree and sunshine blessed me with beauty and energy. I wore red!

Present
Five of Earth (Reversed) – proving the app is pulling from the entire deck, this card is from the suit of Earth – the practical aspects of reality. Fives speak of challenges, and this is a picture of exactly how I feel at the present! There is a storm going on out there (and inside me). I’m huddled, cowering deep in my shelter. This emphasizes the need for Strength and courage as a way to honour the medicine and pain, already made and paid.

WOW, how true is that? Here I am, upside down sheltering while a storm is raging – I am reassured – and assured, this is an important time and should be embraced with Strength and confidence. I am safe and doing fine. Awakening is imminent!
Final note: Altogether, of 7 cards pulled, 6 are Majors – the only minor being the one that is my Now, proving the truth of the reading. I embrace it and am moved.
