COP26 has disappointed me already.
The Global Drum Gathering of November 11 (11/11) will not be part of Humanity Rising (HR) on that day. Because of their focus on current affairs, their presentations from November 1 to 12 will be concentrating on the 26th Conference of Parties that brings governments of the World together to agree on strategies to address Climate Change. They will throw money and rules at the problem*.
Instead, on 11/11 I will be drumming with Dennis Vessies, Jim Petruzzi, Rebekah Simpson and others around the World in the Global Drum Gathering that will wrap the Earth, time zone by time zone, in the rhythm of the Heartbeat of Mother Earth, awakening the One We Are!
The other segment of that day’s HR presentation, with respect to Time and calendars has been rescheduled to December 2, the 4th of 5 days dedicated to Intentional Change. It’s going to be powerful, and I’ll bring you more about it soon.
*That reminds me of when I presented the Our Heart Gardens concept to City Counsellors here in my hometown. They had no time to consider a long-term solution that would empower citizens to respond together to any and all climate crises – because of a flood. There will always be a flood or some other crisis. IMHO, City Halls are administrators not leaders. A new system that honours and enables the Power Of People (POP) is needed.
Can I just say what a comfort to find somebody who really knows what theyre talking about on the web. You definitely understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people have to read this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you arent more popular because you surely possess the gift.
Thank you so much, friend. Life has been very eventful; replying to comments got shuffled to the bottom. I apologize, and thank you for your comment. I like to be flexible. Choice is important, and comments shared help people make new decisions. Word-of-mouth (now electronic) is the most powerful advertising/influence in the world.
