That was quite a year, my friends… Now we have a new one looking like more of the same PLUS. If we can move our focus from wth is going on politically, and financially, it will do us a lot of good. Perhaps we can use awareness of those realms to kickstart the World that Works for All… Is that stretching possibility too far? I don’t think so.
By looking back at the ripples we created as we rowed our boats backwards into the future, our imaginations are tickled by MOM (another name for God inspired by the Magic in Ordinary Moments). In what directions are you being nudged, or pushed? She can be pushy, can’t She?
My place of residence is changing. My mother (Mom) broke her femur last April. I wound up spending 95% of my time at her place instead of a couple of minutes down the road, and I was ok with that. Now, my landlord is selling the house – this was a gentle push out the door, to go back home to Mom. I appreciate the gentleness, and the relationship that Mom and I have developed over the past months. She intends to will the place to me anyway; this is my community for the next decades of my life, as I see it. Not my only one, if the OhGs plan unfolds as imagined.
Humanity Rising has transitioned again, from 5 days a week to only Fridays. It has made a big change in the lives of all the community that gathered through the years since it began in 2020. Jim Garrison inspired the beginning of Jim’s Nuggets in 2023, and in 2025 the book holding the first four months of blogs was completed (interested? contact me!) It is full of links to the archive where videos of sessions and the AfterChats are all available. It’s been a deep, wide education and it’s not over.
The State of the World Forum Watch Party was an eye-opener. I’d had no idea how divergent from the mainstream I’ve become. That can be partially attributed to the lockdown, and I’m not alone in that. The question is, how do we come back together again, after being kept in the dark and lied to, with promotions of doom and gloom in so many areas, and being disbelieved even when supported by (scientific and other) evidence. They say that science progresses one funeral at a time (for an old scientist) AND when will we change children’s educational programs? So much change is needed, yet we are in a whirl with all the changes that have already happened.
OhGs! Maybe the magnitude of changes will inspire us to gather in communities of coherence, grow our own food and teach our kids, and ourselves; learning new things and sharing old things that need passing on… celebrating and circulating…
