We’re designing a regenerative writing game—one that lets people play with better ways of living together. The full game will offer ways to:

  • Choose a character or family to write from or about

  • Submit vignettes, reports, or visions

  • Earn Community Credits (CCs) by doing things in real life that reflect regenerative values

  • Use portals (like the logo!) to access hidden layers of the game

For now, you can read the early story draft that started it all:

This page, and the stories, will grow. Like all seeds, it begins with a little soil, a little light, and a lot of imagination.

A living/writing game for worldbuilders, dreamers, and doers.

What if the future grew from the seeds we plant today? What if the stories we told shaped the cities we live in?

In a time not so far from now, Our Heart Gardens has taken root. Not in just one place, but many—scattered across a reimagined cityscape where four distinct Families tend their own realms.

Those Families are listed below, and are envisioned to be accessed through the logo – each figure marking a different pathway, a different scenario, a different set of characters, all sharing their ideas, their abundance and their people, who connect us all more closely together.

The Riverbottom Rememberers – Keepers of ancient ways and unexpected wisdoms.

The Hilltop Commonskeepers – Builders of infrastructure that feels like home.

The UN-Reserved Storyweavers – Carriers of culture, song, and healing.

The Sahali SeedSeekers – Bold experimenters navigating the edge of what’s possible, ever curious, ever cultivating.

In the early days, this group came into view through a retrospective: a design contest at TRU sparked the installation of an exhibit at Sahali Mall. That exhibit—conceived by a student visionary—became the first public-facing node of Our Heart Gardens. A seed, planted in plain sight.

The Social Argonauts – The ones who step between the Families, who play the Game, who test the rules and write the stories. You may already be one.

The Harpers – Travellers, healers, composers and teachers who carry energy and wisdom across the weave. Often unseen but deeply felt, they tune the frequencies of the city.

And then there is Downtown—a shared space, a friction zone, a forge.
This is where City Hall is located and this is where all their stories meet.

The Sahali Seed is your invitation to join this story-in-motion.
