Poetic Seeds

In every garden, there are seeds that carry stories, songs, and spirit. Poetic Seeds are those expressions that bloom not through explanation, but through feeling. Here, we share offerings that speak to the soul of Our Heart Gardens—art, poetry, presentations, and glimpses of the vision spoken aloud. These are the moments that root us, lift us, and remind us why we’re here.

I began writing because magical things kept happening. I found that, if not written down, they would fade away, lost in the “grey mundane” of ordinary life, or my life would be consumed by them.  I didn’t want to be so focused on remembering those stories that I missed new ones! I wanted more because those magical moments brought wonder, humour and Divine connection into my ordinary life.

By “magical”, I mean extraordinary, remarkable, exceptional, synchronistic, serendipitous, impossible to plan and incredible! 

In a flash of inspiration (not documented, sorry to say!) an acronym came to mind: MOM – the Magic in Ordinary Moments that happen to everyone, no matter what they believe!  MOM is a big part of my philosophy; I enjoy thinking of myself as a Priestess of MOM. To me, MOM is a personification of the Power that empowers everything — MOM is the active part of the Divine (Hand of God?) that guides us, and can change our life in the space of a moment.

That’s the kind of magic you’ll find in these posts – there’s also POP* and OhGs**, Conversations with the Divine, a Bedtime Story (a new Creation Story), a promise that became a prophecy 40 years later, Gaia’s Promise of Peace, and a lot more! And more to come…

   *POP = the Power of People – we have more than we know, and are learning the skills and benefits of working together. 
**OhGs = Our Heart Gardens – where we learn about POP and MOM, sharing our stories while we grow good food & good kids.
